How it works

Familiar enough to use. Personal by design.

GentleHello keeps the parts of social sharing that help people feel close, then removes the public audience around them.

Add each other nearby

Both people open Add connection, compare the matching code, and accept. There is no public people search.

Share once

Post photos and a caption to one feed instead of repeating the same update across different group chats.

Reply one to one

A reaction or response continues in a private conversation between the two of you, never beneath a public post.

Designed for real relationships

Not another audience to manage.

Friends and family only

Your feed comes from mutual connections. There are no public followers, influencer recommendations, or groups in the current product.

History without housekeeping

When you connect, you can see each other’s currently shared older posts too. There is no need to resend the moments that came before.

Clear and comfortable

Large type, familiar navigation, generous controls, and a calm photo-first layout make the app easier across generations.

Privacy without vague promises

We collect what the product needs—and explain it plainly.

GentleHello uses phone-number sign-in, stores the content you choose to share, and uses nearby access only while both people are adding a connection. If you opt in, product analytics is limited to allowlisted, pseudonymous performance measurements.
